Chicago Roots + Creative Pivot = Purposeful Design
Born and raised in Chicago, I originally pursued a degree in fashion design, drawn to creativity, storytelling, and visual expression. Art was always a constant in my life but for a long time, it remained a passion I never imagined turning into a career.
That changed when I landed my first volunteer graphic design opportunity. What started as a side skill quickly became something that felt natural and intuitive. As job opportunities in my original field became increasingly limited, I made a necessary pivot, one that aligned both with my strengths and my future.
Design came easily, but more importantly, it felt right. That realization shaped the foundation of my career and led to the work I do today: intentional, thoughtful design built with clarity, confidence, and purpose.
